Pähkinä (a nut in English), is a perky young aby lady, unbelievably kind and easy to handle, affectionate and human-oriented lapcat. Or then she is at full speed with her toys. Sometimes the older generation ends up playing the part of an unsuspecting prey of this Great Feline Predator, of which they are not always so awfully excited. But Pähkinä is not discouraged, she keeps on hunting her antilopes on the savannah. And quite often the older generations has been spotted enjoying the game too. Pähkinä enjoys playing and wading in water, be it in the sink or in a wash-basin. She is also a big fan of household chores, like vacuuming, dust-wiping etc. This enthusiasm to participate litterally everything has lead to a serious quality deterioration of my housekeeping, as I´ve been too soft to put her in another room while cleaning...

Pööpi is very brave little cat. Or is she a cat at all? She lacks totally that certain reservedness against new things that is so usual among cats. She loves everything and everybody, sometimes maybe a bit too much. Her greatest sign of affection is not so gentle biting of nose or chin. Constant dove-like chirping is heard when she is excited and dominant bleating when things are not as she would like. Pööpi had a huge campaign not to move away from her breeder's house, so she lives in Helsinki.

Kidi´s top trick is to wake up the servants just before the alarm clock goes off, usually about 30 min before. Particulary loud purring combined with walking all over sleepy faces is her morning routine. Kidi also orders her meals by headbutting and purring. Her favourite food is everything on the plate, and she´s not particulary fussy who´s plate it is... Very often Kidi finds both the speed of delivery and plentiness of her meals unsatisfactory, and that naturally requires some reprimandatory measures. Besides food, Kidi likes laying on sauna benches enjoying the warmth before and after the servants have their bath. Then again, she´s not very excited on outdoor life, unless you count basking in sunny spots on veranda. She has decided to be an indoor cat exclusively, as wearing a leash causes an instant paralysis (maybe it´s wrong colour?)

Fooli

Fooli is really affectionate and absolutely loves being cuddled and caressed. He is a true lapcat, and enjoys immensely laying there and purring endlessly. Other cats occasional crumpy faces or hissing he takes with a superior serenity, let them! He doesn´t seem to know how to hiss, let alone growl. Having an entire male in the house, the servants thought to ensure their silent nights with earplugs, but there´s no need for those, as Fooli only uses very civilized levels of volume only. A true veritable gentleman, emphasis on the word gentle.
